Rose Uren

— Rose Marie Conley Uren of Commerce Township Mich., was born May 1, 1966, and died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, as the result of pneumonia and cardiac arrest.

Rose married K Scott Uren on June 1, 1991. Rose is formerly of Ardmore and Athens.  Rose is the mother of Patrick Uren and wife Ashley of Clements, Miranda Uren and Caleb Uren of Commerce Township,  Mich. She has three grandchildren, Grayson, Adalyn, and Avaleigh. Rose dearly loved her grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her mother, Allene Conley. 

Rose is survived by her dad, the Rev. Amos Conley; her stepmother, Eloise Conley of Ardmore; siblings Gladys Nunn and husband Johnny of Ardmore, Gloria Carter and husband Rod of N. Manchester Ind., and Douglas A. Conley and wife Becky of Toney.

Rose is also survived by her stepsiblings, Beverly Pryor, Libby Taylor and husband Ronny of Chattanooga Tenn., Doug McBrayer and wife Cindy, and Ramona Elkins and husband Wayne of Boaz. She is also survived by brother-in-law Dewayne Uren and wife Lynda of Ringgold, Ga.

Rose attended Ardmore High School and is a graduate of Calhoun Community College with a degree in dental hygiene. Rose managed her husband’s medical office, Athens Foot Center, for several years.

Rose was a member of the Ardmore Assembly of God Church and New Life Assembly of God Church in Athens, prior to moving to Commerce, Mich. Since moving to Michigan she has attended Lifepoint Christian Church in Waterford. Rose taught Sunday school, children’s church, and worked with the church youth group.

Rose loved her family, more than life itself; the newest addition to her family is her dog Willie!  What an amazing friend he is to their family!  Most importantly she loved the Lord, with all her heart!

Visitation is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the Ardmore Assembly of God Church, 28265 Boyd Chapel Road, Ardmore, AL 35739. The memorial funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the Ardmore Assembly of God Church and will be conducted by the Rev. Amos Conley and the Rev. John Colonnello.

Burial will be at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Tenn. The family respectfully asks that this be limited to immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up to assist the family with expenses. Donations may be made to the Ardmore of Assembly of God Church. Condolences may be sent to
