Each year during Sub Deb Club’s pledging season the members head to Athens neighborhoods to collect canned goods for the needy as a service project. Members and pledges distribute flyers in the targeted neighborhoods then return in costume to ‘trick or treat’ to collect items to take to Limestone County Churches Involved to help stock the food pantry. This year the girls collected for donations in Culwell Place and Indian Trace subdivisions. Part of the Indian Trace team this year included, front row: Joanna Thompson, Jessi Hobson, Ann Harris, Kelly Jackson, Peyton Phillips, Bethany Bruce, Anna Watkins; back row: Caitlin Perkins, Shelby Nesmith, Savannah Nesmith, Emily Sulcer, Laura Caldwell and Taylor Henke. |
