Describe duties at church: Carol began her work with the church in 1992 as a part-time secretary and began working full time when her three children were out of school. She is now the church secretary and treasurer. Her duties include all the financial responsibilities of a treasurer and she also produces the church bulletin, mails 500 church calendars each month and postcards for special events, plans and organizes functions and dinners, and seeks out volunteers to help with various church activities.

How many years attended? The Mulack family has attended New Life Assembly of God since 1984.

Family members: Husband, Ron, who is retired from Delphi; two sons, Kevin and wife Judy of Athens, and Brian, who recently graduated from the University of North Alabama in Florence; one daughter, Kim from Birmingham; two granddaughters, Marie, 2, and Jill, 2 weeks, the daughters of Kevin and Judy Mulack.

What are your hobbies? Carol and Ron love to bowl and are members of a bowling league in Madison. She also enjoys cooking and, when time permits, she sews and works with crafts.

Why do you enjoy helping at the church? “I just enjoy being with people and helping people. Jesus always helped people and that’s part of being a Christian,” said Carol. “When I do retire someday I want to continue to be a part of the church and go out in the community and help more than I do now.”
