Local resident graduates from Rice University

Athens native Matthew Guertin recently graduated from Rice University with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Athens students honored at Judson College

Athens native Beverly Cox was named a president's scholar, received the biology award and was named to “Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.”

Kaylee Crenshaw of Athens received the art award.

Harvest student graduates from Columbus State

Laurel McKenzie of Harvest recently graduated from the College of the Arts’ criminal justice program at Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Rogersville resident explores Greece

Rogersville resident Andrew Pyle is among a group of incoming freshmen spending the summer in Athens, Greece, with Harding University's Scholars Abroad program. Pyle will spend two weeks touring famous biblical and archeological sites.

Local students named to dean's list

Beth Whitten, of Harvest, and Blake Hall and Jared Hall, both of Madison, were recently named to the dean’s list at Berry College.
