A family of graduates

Seven Mile Post Road Church members Charles and Gayla Gilliam of Coxey had seven members of their family graduate this year. The church held a special service April 29 for graduates in the community. Those honored in the Gilliam family are, front row from left, Jess Gilliam of Diesel College in Nashville, Tenn.; Haylee Meals of Clements High School; Elizabeth Gilliam of Athens Bible School; back row, Kayla and Krista Gilliam of Clements High School; Deneen Meals Van Kirk, master’s degree in acquisition and contract management; and Michael Van Kirk, husband of Deneen, master’s degree in logistics management. Charles and Gayla also have three other grandchildren, Nathaniel Meals, Loren Gilliam and Hannah Gilliam, and one great-grandchild, Maylei Meals.
