Local players perform well at All-Star Sports Week

— The four area athletes participating in the All-Star Sports Week this week helped lead their team to victory.
Tanner’s Latraius Mosley was the North squad’s second leading scorer Thursday in the team’s 55-46 victory over the South team in the boys basketball game.
He scored eight points and grabbed three rebounds in eight minutes of playing time.
Earlier Thursday, Elkmont’s Bailee Robinson grabbed four rebounds and recorded three assists but failed to score in the girls basketball game. Robinson’s North squad defeated the South team 86-45.
The other two area athletes — Athens’ Andrew Bowman and East Limestone’s Cory Wood — were also on a winning team this week.
The pair of soccer players were on the North team, which defeated the South squad 4-1. Neither player recorded a shot on goal in the win.
