Published August 28, 2008 10:16 pm - After successful seasons last year, both the Athens Bible and Elkmont volleyball teams have started their season off on a strong note.
In the first volleyball poll of the season, put out by The Birmingham News, the Lady Red Devils are in the fifth spot in Class 3A, just below Danville, Montgomery Academy, Madison Academy and Bayside Academy.
In Class 1A, Athens Bible sits at the second spot with a 5-3 record, behind Gaston.


Elkmont, ABS start season on high note

After successful seasons last year, both the Athens Bible and Elkmont volleyball teams have started their season off on a strong note.
