The Class 3A, fourth ranked Lady Red Devils took Brooks to three games but got beat 3-2 to finish the regular season at 38-7.

The Elkmont volleyball team ended its regular season on a high note Thursday afternoon by defeating Covenant Christian and Lauderdale County. The Class 3A, fourth ranked Lady Red Devils took Brooks to three games but got beat 3-2 to finish the regular season at 38-7.
Bailee Robinson had 22 kills, 73 digs, two blocks and one ace. Michelle Tucker had 27 kills and 19 blocks, Sarah Solomon had six blocks, two kills, eight digs and two aces and Stephanie Bentley had 25 kills, eight blocks and eight digs.
Brooke Pressnell had 39 assists, 31 digs, two kills and two aces for the Lady Red Devils. Olivia Pressnell had 13 assists, 22 digs and one ace. Courtney Phillips had 51 digs and Meagan Sutton had one kill and 15 digs.
In other matches, Elkmont defeated Clements to seal the number one seed in today’s county tournament.
Robinson had 17 kills, 15 digs, one assist and one ace. Tucker had 13 kills, five blocks, two assists and one ace, Bentley had 15 kills and Brooke Pressnell had 20 assists, 14 digs and two aces. Olivia Pressnell contributed with eight assists, six digs and one ace. Philips had eight digs and one ace and Ashley Roberson had 11 digs.
The Lady Red Devils also defeated West Limestone and Catholic High School earlier this week. Robinson had 17 kills, 46 digs, three assists and one ace in the match. Tucker had 20 kills and 16 blocks. Solomon had three blocks, five digs and two aces, Brooke Pressnell had 30 assists, 26 digs and four aces and Olivia Pressnell had 11 digs, 16 digs and three aces. Phillips contributed with 47 digs and two aces.
