The Titans had their first fully padded practice Sunday night with approximately 1,500 fans on hand, and Jake Locker had his best session yet. He had his best moment with a pass to Kendall Wright who made a diving catch on the left sideline before coming back with a long toss to Nate Washington down the right.
Rookie receiver Justin Hunter also got a taste of the "Oklahoma" drill early going up against a fellow rookie in cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson, who easily got the better of Hunter.
"A lot of those guys have never been in that type of drill before, so I don't think he knew quite what the heck was going on," Munchak said. "I think he was still in shock we called him up there."
Notes: Rookie offensive lineman Brian Schwenke (left hamstring) was given the night off. He is expected back possibly by Tuesday. Munchak also gave receivers Kenny Britt and Marc Mariani, kicker Rob Bironas and defensive end Ropati Pitoitua the night off. ... Backup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick also got into the physical practice with a strong block freeing Darius Reynaud for a touchdown run in a drill.
