Tanner headed back to final four

For a brief moment in the fourth quarter, it looked as though Tanner might let the lead slip away as it had last season in the regional final against Mars Hill. Greg Maclin made sure that moment didn’t last long with a crucial three-pointer to lift Tanner to a 58-48 win over Hatton in the 2A Northwest Regional final.

With the win, Tanner advanced to the Final Four to play Luverne at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the BJCC in Birmingham.
