AG: 10 people arrested for misuse of police data

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — An investigation into the misuse of confidential law enforcement information has resulted in the arrests of 10 people.
Alabama Attorney General Troy King said in a statement Monday each defendant, including a former dispatcher for the Adamsville Police Department, face a variety of felony charges that involved misusing secret data regarding 19 individuals.
King said it was the largest investigation in the 34-year history of the Alabama Criminal Justice Center.
All the defendants live in Jefferson County.
