Fire sweeps through four-unit Alabama strip mall

CITRONELLE, Ala. (AP) — Fire has swept through a four-unit strip mall in Citronelle, destroying a florist business and a former insurance office and heavily damaging a dry cleaner. No one was injured.
Volunteer Fire Chief Johnny Simison said Tuesday that the fire started in Audrey’s Flower shop. destroying the business. The fire then spread through the roof to the former Skipper Insurance office and damaged Citronelle Cleaners before firefighters halted its progress.
