TBI: 4 killed in Lincoln slayings includes toddler; victims identified

— FAYETTEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Police say the deaths of three young women and a toddler in two separate homes in Lincoln County could be related and they are searching for a man they believe to be armed and dangerous.

Investigators first discovered the bodies of 22-year-old Chabreya Campbell and her 18-month-old son Rico Ragland inside their home on Huntsville Highway, about 100 miles south of Nashville near the Alabama border. The body of 21-year-old Amber McCaulley of Huntsville, Ala., was also inside the home.

Campbell's other child, 3-year-old Vincent Crutcher, was found in the home unharmed. The boy's godmother, Constance Winston, told WAFF-TV in Huntsville ( that the boy was calling relatives saying that he couldn't wake anyone up.

Later on Monday, the body of 21-year-old Jessica Brown was found in her home on Fox Wood Drive in Fayetteville, Tenn. Her 2-month-old was found in the home unharmed.

Lincoln County Sheriff's Department officials have named Warren Vincent Crutcher as a person of interest in the case. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Sheriff Murray Blackwelder said Tuesday that a search is ongoing for Crutcher. He said Crutcher was the father of the 3-year-old found alive in the home on Huntsville Highway, but he said he would not speculate on a motive. No arrests have been made in the case.

He said they were not releasing causes of deaths for the four victims. Investigators do not believe there are any additional victims at this point.

The victims have been taken to the Tennessee medical examiner's office for autopsy to determine cause of death. The TBI's Violent Crime Response Team responded to the crime scene to assist in gathering evidence.
