Church's 'Strip for me' billboard draws attention

— BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — A Birmingham church and its billboard with its "Strip for me" quote from the Bible in large red letters is drawing attention.

WBRC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/YbDvs4) that the billboard can be seen just behind The Palace Gentlemen's Club in downtown Birmingham.

Rock Church Pastor Mike McClure Jr. says he expected some negative reaction to the billboard, but hopes that it changes the lives of some men who visit strip clubs. He said the church chose the location for the sign because they want men walking into the club "to know God has a greater cause for your life."

The message is from Hebrews 12:1.
