Tanker truck crash, fuel spill closes highway



MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Crews were cleaning up about 75 gallons of diesel fuel after a tanker truck overturned Friday morning on U.S. 331 south of Montgomery.

Alabama state troopers said U.S. 331 was shut down from Alabama 94 northbound to Boyd Road because of the crash and spill.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (http://on.mgmadv.com/10YAqJ3) that the wreck happened around 6:30 a.m. just south of Alabama 94. The driver sustained minor injuries.
