Police ID 4 Tenn. residents found dead in Winston County

DOUBLE SPRINGS — Police have identified four people from Tennessee who were found shot dead in rural Alabama.

The dead were discovered Wednesday inside a car parked on a logging road near a forest south of Double Springs.

Authorities said the deceased include 30-year-old Kevin Carley, 29-year-old Robert Hamrick, 29-year-old Amanda Hamrick and 37-year-old Andy Keith Hunt. Winston County Sheriff Rick Harris said all four people were from Savannah, Tenn.

Harris said the deaths appear to be an isolated incident, possibly a suicide or a murder-suicide.

The Alabama Bureau of Investigation and Tennessee law enforcement officials are assisting in the probe.
