Seeking Alabama driver's license, woman hits office

— DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — Police say a woman seeking her driver's license wound up getting a ticket after crashing into the driver's license office in Dothan.

The Dothan Eagle (http://bit.ly/1bQB0Td ) reports that the woman was ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident after the wreck, which damaged the building.

Authorities haven't released her name.

State troopers say a woman arrived at the driver's license office in Dothan on Wednesday with plans to get a license.

She allegedly hit the building with a 2008 Chevrolet Impala and then drove away. Police found her driving the same car a few hours later.

No one was hurt.
