Cynthia Renee Kimbrough of Athens, and Delvecchio Rodrigues Rogers of Athens were married in a 5:30 p.m. sundown ceremony Sept. 13, 2009, at Playa Buena Guanaste, Costa Rica with Casasola Guillén officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Shirley J, Kimbrough of Athens, and the late John W. Kimbrough. Her grandparents are the late Bill and Nannie Mae Kimbrough.

The groom is the son of Barry Rogers and Loucille Bridgeforth, both of Athens. His grandparents are the late Beatrice Rogers, and the late Ida Gilbert.

A reception followed the ceremony at Occident Grand Resort of Papagayo. Additional help included Harold Rojas.

After a wedding trip to Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the couple returned home to Athens.
