Havin' a ball on a sunny day

— On a breezy and bright Thursday afternoon, Audrina Nelms, 2, of Athens, tosses a ball into the duck pond at Big Spring Memorial Park in Athens.

After several days of sub-freezing temperatures, the National Weather Service predicts today’s high could reach 60 degrees, with a low of 37 and a zero percent chance of rain.
