Helen Loretta Teusink
Helen Loretta Stevens Teusink, age 93, of Holland, Mich., went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 2, 2008.
Helen was a resident of the Warm Friend Hotel for over 10 years and was a member of the Central Park Reformed Church. She worked at the Central Park Grocery Store for 48 years before retiring in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1987.
She is survived by her children: Dwayne (Tiger) and Shirley Teusink of Holland and Allan Teusink and friend Sandy Smith of Athens; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother Eugene Teusink of Holland; sisters Grace Tabberer and husband Harry of Hastings. Mich., and Geraldine Van Putten and husband Gordon of Holland; and many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Lakeshore Memorial Services in Holland. Reverend David Landegent will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at Lakeshore Memorial Services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warm Friend Hotel, 5 East 8th St., Holland Mich. 49423 or to Resthaven Bethel Care, 280 West 40th St. Holland, Mich. 49423. An on-line registry book is available at www.lakeshorememorial.com for those who cannot attend the services.
