The funeral for Jo Ann Graves Boruff, 74, of Athens will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Madison Baptist Church, 840 Balch Road in Madison with Mike Allison officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home in Athens.

Mrs. Boruff went to be with the Lord from her home on Cambridge Lane Friday, Aug. 14, 2009.

She was born Aug. 18, 1934 in Knox County, Tenn. to Dewey Graves and Clara Lee Sharp Graves.

Mrs. Boruff is remembered for her love and devotion to her family and for 37 faithful years of Christian service as a pastor’s wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Lucille Woods and Mildred Foster.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Bill Boruff; a brother, Leroy Graves and a sister, Catherine Clevenger, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; three daughters, Sharon Clark of Waverly, Tenn., Pamela Brown of Madison, and Rebecca Shook of Douglasville, Ga.; one son, Bradley Boruff of Santa Clara, Calif.; and 16 wonderful grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Boruff, Kyle Boruff, Andrew Brown, Brian Brown, Tony Clark and Stephen Shook.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Madison Baptist World Missions.
