Preparations for the Athens Bible School Musical Explosion 2006 are once again underway. The annual event has been changed from its usual two weekends to just one weekend, March 17-18.
Reserved tickets are available for the school fund raiser now at the ABS main office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for $14. Tickets are also available for $10 for general admission and will go on sale at Railroad Bazaar in Athens and the ABS main office on Feb. 22.
Bobby Hudson will return as master of ceremonies.
Also, new acts like, Nashville recording star Joey Martin, who will be making an appearance on March 18, will add variety to the show this year. Old favorites returning will be Southern Style, Luke Thornton, Jackie Hobbs, Adam Olson, Todd Stovall, Becky Murrell, Jimmy Gilliam, Pam Ennis, Bill Swindell, and Hands of Love and many more.

Amanda Gail Moore, 45 of Athens, died Sunday, July 3, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. There will be a 3PM Graveside Service Friday at Athens Memory Gardens. Visitation is from 1-2PM Friday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens.
