An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. today in the art room at Owens Elementary School, 21465 Alabama 99. Each donor receives a T-shirt. Owens students who recruit blood donors receive a youth-size T-shirt.

Barbecue contest
