The Elkmont Volunteer Fire Department will host a Swamp John's fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. today at the fire department. The Thrive Mobile will set up in the parking lot of the Athens-Limestone Public Library from noon-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7. Thrive staff will provide testing for the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and can quickly link patients to the care they need.

Master gardener class
