The Taste of Home Cooking School, sponsored by The News Courier, will be held April 17 at Athens Middle School auditorium. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded during intermission. Vendors will sell food and other items. Tickets are $10 each and are available at The News Courier at 410 W. Green Street or the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program at 409 Washington Street. Savor Spring will be this year’s theme. Culinary Specialist Michelle Roberts will make 10 spring recipes. The program presents easy, reliable recipes that are kitchen-tested by the Taste of Home Cooking School.
