State Troopers are continuing to investigate a fatal hit-and-run Saturday that killed a 6-year-old Harvest boy.
State Trooper Curtis Summerville said the accident happened at about 8:10 p.m. on Kinsale Drive, which is about five miles north of Huntsville.
The boy, identified as Matthew Dahl of Harvest, was riding his bicycle when a 2000 GMC pick-up truck, allegedly driven by 19-year-old Kyle David Morgan of Huntsville, struck him.
Dahl was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Morgan was later arrested at his home and transported to the Madison County Jail where he was charged with manslaughter and felony leaving the scene of an accident.
No further information was available for release as State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
