County arrests
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:
• Britney Tenecha Coleman, 20, of 22350 Sandlin Road, Elkmont, chemical endangerment of a child and violating probation on two counts of negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument
• Joshua Shane Hubbert, 21, of 455 River Lane, Tuscumbia, second-degree possession of a forged instrument
• Kathy Elaine Jones, 48, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Apt. 108, Athens, third-degree assault
• Chase Lee Motes, 18, of 424 Fourth St. S.W., Decatur, breaking and entering a vehicle
• Kent Mason Nichols, 19, of 207 Third Ave. S.W., Apt. A, Decatur, second-degree receiving stolen property
• Salvador Tellez Rios, 20, of 20227 Holt Road, Athens, surety rescinds bail bond on first-degree rape
County thefts
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Pioneer brand CD player valued at $100 stolen Friday from vehicle in 1000 block of Old Railroad Bed Road
• Samsung brand cellular telephone and prescription medication, total value $121, stolen Friday from 20000 block of Myers Road
City arrests
The Athens Police Department reported the follow arrests Tuesday:
• Andrea Dunavant Beasley, 24, of 12100 Two Rivers Drive, Apt. C-3, Athens, driving under the influence
• Adam Alexander Montgomery, 25, of 22094 Compton Road, Athens, two counts of possession of a forged instrument
City thefts
The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:
• Car cover for BMW 323 valued at $100 stolen Thursday or Friday from 815 W. Washington St.
• Electrical box and heating and cooling unit, total value $5,100, damaged due to criminal mischief Thursday or Friday at 1214 Plainview Circle
• Gasoline valued at $15 stolen Friday from 801 Jefferson St. by person driving Chevrolet extended-cab pickup
Hospital report
Athens-Limestone Hospital reported no admissions or discharges Tuesday.
