Two Limestone County men have been arrested in connection with separate thefts that occurred in August in Limestone County, Sheriff’s Capt. Stanley McNatt said.
James Kenneth Guthrie, 21, of 123 Hill St., Langston, was arrested Monday on two counts of first-degree theft, records show. Guthrie is accused of stealing two all-terrain vehicles from Limestone County in August. Three four-wheelers were stolen in that incident, but sheriff’s officials, McNatt said, have since recovered all of them. Another man has already been charged in the thefts.
Guthrie remained in the Limestone County Jail Tuesday in lieu of posting a $10,000 bail on the two felony charges, records show.
In a separate theft, Joshua Craig Stanridge, 32, of 16670 Fort Hampton Road, Lot A, Elkmont, was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree theft and breaking and entering a vehicle, records show.
Stanridge is accused of stealing an air compressor and tools from a Rogers Group service truck on Easter Ferry Road, McNatt said.
He was released from the Limestone County Jail Monday after posting a $7,500 bail, records show.
