ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) — Police in Oklahoma say authorities are reviewing video surveillance tapes for clues in the brutal killing of a pastor inside her church.

Police Capt. Dewayne Miller says investigators have gotten video surveillance of the area from the time 61-year-old Carol Daniels was killed. Miller declined to say where the cameras were located or what the images show.

Daniels’ body was found Sunday in the Christ Holy Sanctified Church in Anadarko. A preliminary autopsy found she died of “multiple sharp force injuries,” and a prosecutor described the crime scene as “the most horrific” he’s ever witnessed.

Law enforcement officials declined to elaborate and have been tightlipped about details of the crime.
