A big night from Natalie Harrison and Morgan Adams lifted the West Limestone Lady Wildcats to a 70-60 win Tuesday night over Elkmont High School.

“I was very pleased with the way we played tonight,” Lady Wildcat coach Sonya Berzett said.

West Limestone fought its way to a 16-14 lead and a 34-27 halftime advantage.

The Lady Wildcats outscored the Lady Red Devils 19-13 in the third quarter to stretch their lead to 13 points. For the game, Harrison and Adams scored 26 and 19 points respectively.

“Natalie and Morgan both stepped up and made plays for us tonight,” Berzett said. “I thought the difference in the game was rebounding; rebounding and turnovers.”

Elizabeth Dison also added 10 points for West Limestone and Brandy Rice had nine points. For Elkmont, Bailee Robinson led the way with a game-high 27 points. Jamie Lack followed her with nine points.

Elkmont will host Lauderdale County Friday night. West Limestone will next appear in the Limestone County Tournament.
